Making a little quilt is the perfect way to learn the basics of quilting! Genie will guide you through the steps in making a small patchwork quilt, from stitching and piecing to quilting or tying. When your quilt top is assembled, the next steps will be covered: batting, backing, binding, and how to finish your quilt. All supplies included.

Make your own original, graceful, patchwork skirt from repurposed fabrics. You will learn how to make this skirt from scratch, with step-by-step instructions. Some machine sewing experience is preferred. Machines will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own if you have one. Class size is limited. Ages 16 & up.

Sally has a passion for finding new uses for old things. With many years of experience in teaching practical life skills, she always enjoys the challenge of finding uses for things that others may overlook. She grew up in the Ozarks and works at Bergman School. Sally is a found-object artist, crafter and cook.
